Declaration of Independence
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
With this Declaration, “We the People” are the Government of the U.S.A. Those elected to public office derive their powers from the American people. The elected public servant takes an oath to serve and protect the American people and the Constitution of the United States of America. As an American Citizen, and there is a difference from that of a Fourteenth Amendment U.S. citizen, you are responsible for those you elect to public service and not "subject to" their so called laws; statutes, code, regulations and ordinances. The "color of law" and they may be "legal" however, they NOT "lawful" when those so called laws are repugnant to the Bill of Rights and the organic Constitution. FIRE THEM ALL.
